Born and raised in Toronto, community volunteer work was encouraged as part of my schooling. I always had an interest in the biological sciences, and so naturally I decided to volunteer at the local hospital. Before I knew it, one hospital site became three, and I enjoyed it so much I became the regional student volunteer leader. One of the hospitals I volunteered at had just completed constructing the first community cancer center at the time. Whilst spending my evenings reading, helping to feed or delivering flowers to the cancer-center patients, I hoped to one day have the privilege of being a blood and cancer doctor and aid in the fight against cancer.

Fast forward to 2022, I feel honored to be a part of the Central New York hematology and oncology community and have the privilege of treating its residents, primarily in our Auburn location. I have looked forward to being closer to family across the border whilst raising my children in a special place. The Upstate NY area has always been my second home, and I am happy to have returned.

I joined Hematology-Oncology Associates of CNY for its breadth of patient-centered resources which are geared toward providing the best available medicine and access to clinical trial opportunities for patients. As a physician it excites me to engage in cutting edge research and modern technology to offer the very best to my patients.

After graduating from American University of Antigua College of Medicine, I lived in Rochester, NY for six years where I completed my residency at Rochester Regional Health System. I completed my oncology specialty training at the University of Rochester Medical Center-Wilmot Cancer Institute, where I served as Chief Fellow. I then spent a few years practicing rural cancer medicine in Northern Maine, which I thoroughly enjoyed, and why I was drawn to work in the smaller Auburn, NY community.

Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my family, especially arts and crafts with my kids, global travel, cooking of all kinds and I am always keen to pick up a new skill or hobby.
